Journey around Nashville

July 4, 2015

Come along with me as I explore some exciting places in and around Nashville. You never know where we might end up.

Centennial Park is a premier park in the Nashville area. The park covers 132 acres and includes the iconic Parthenon, a one-mile walking trail, Lake Watauga, the Centennial Art Center, historical monuments, an arts activity center, a beautiful sunken garden, a band shell, an events shelter, sand volleyball courts, dog park, and an exercise trail. The Partheon is a full scale replica of the Athenian originals. If you want to find out more amazing facts about Centennial Park check out their website

The steam locomotive was placed in the park in 1953.

The fighter plane was placed in the park in 1961.

I hope you have enjoyed our stop in Centennial Park. Make sure to check back next week to see where we end up. If you have a cool place in the Nashville area that we should stop at send me a message.
