Come along with me as I explore some exciting places in and around Nashville. You never know where we might end up.
Centennial Park is a premier park in the Nashville area. The park covers 132 acres and includes the iconic Parthenon, a one-mile walking trail, Lake Watauga, the Centennial Art Center, historical monuments, an arts activity center, a beautiful sunken garden, a band shell, an events shelter, sand volleyball courts, dog park, and an exercise trail. The Partheon is a full scale replica of the Athenian originals. If you want to find out more amazing facts about Centennial Park check out their website https://www.nashville.gov/Parks-and-Recreation/Parks/Centennial-Park.aspx
The steam locomotive was placed in the park in 1953.
The fighter plane was placed in the park in 1961.
I hope you have enjoyed our stop in Centennial Park. Make sure to check back next week to see where we end up. If you have a cool place in the Nashville area that we should stop at send me a message.
